Shipping and Delivery Policy
This page explains how CHIR presents shipping status, delivery updates, and tracking information without changing delivery calculations.
It is designed to stay consistent with the live order and rental workflows already in production.
1. Overview
CHIR uses shipping and delivery information that already exists in the order, rental, and tracking flows. This policy explains how delivery status is communicated without changing the underlying order workflow.
2. Shipping Information We Use
- Shipping address and contact details provided during checkout.
- Shipping fee or delivery fee shown at checkout.
- Delivery status, dispatch status, and tracking history where available.
3. How Delivery Works
- Orders are prepared, packed, and moved into dispatch based on the current workflow.
- Delivery updates are reflected in the order timeline when the backend already has them.
- Rental deliveries may use the same operational tracking logic as other shipped orders.
4. Tracking
If tracking details are available from the seller, courier, or backend order record, CHIR shows them in the relevant order view. When no tracking ID exists, the app should show the current shipping status instead of a placeholder value.
5. Delays And Exceptions
Shipping delays can happen because of location, availability, verification steps, courier delays, or manual review. CHIR does not change delivery calculations here; support simply displays the current status clearly.
6. Contact
If you need help with an order delivery, contact chirservices@gmail.com or use the CHIR help center.
