CHIR Rental Policy
This page explains how rental bookings, deposits, pickup, return, and inspection already work on CHIR.
It mirrors the live rental flow without changing rental calculations or backend behavior.
1. Overview
CHIR rentals already use availability checks, booking dates, delivery timing, deposits, and return status. This policy summarizes that existing behavior for users.
2. Booking And Availability
- Rental bookings depend on item availability and the dates selected at checkout.
- Blocked dates and overlapping bookings can prevent a rental from being confirmed.
- The platform may reject or delay a booking if the item is unavailable.
3. Rental Deposit
Some rentals include a refundable deposit. When shown, the deposit is displayed separately from the rental fee so users can see what is refundable and what is not.
4. Pickup And Return
- Pickup and delivery details are part of the rental workflow.
- Users should return the item on time and in the expected condition.
- Late returns may affect deposit release or final rental status.
5. Damage Inspection
If an item is returned damaged or materially different from the rental condition, CHIR may use the existing inspection workflow to update the rental status and adjust the refundable deposit where the platform already supports that outcome.
6. Completion
A rental is considered complete when the return workflow has been finished and the status is updated in the backend. This policy does not change the live rental calculation logic.
7. Contact
