Data Deletion Instructions

Follow these steps if you want to delete your CHIR data, clear local storage, or understand what remains after account deletion.

This page exists so the deletion route is discoverable, operationally clear, and suitable for Google Play account-deletion review.

CHIR is a sustainable fashion marketplace for buying, renting, reselling, and donation workflows. These pages are published for the CHIR website and app so users can review legal terms, privacy details, and account deletion guidance before they take action.

1. What You Can Delete

You can request deletion of the personal data that CHIR stores for your account, including:

  • Your CHIR profile and sign-in session.
  • Saved cart and local session data managed by the app or website.
  • Profile details such as name, phone number, address, and bio where deletion is allowed.
  • The data tied to deletion requests that support needs to keep for proof of the request.

2. How To Submit A Deletion Request

  1. Sign in to CHIR with the account you want deleted.
  2. Open the Delete Account page.
  3. Read the impact summary so you understand what will happen.
  4. Open the deletion request form and confirm the action.
  5. Wait for the confirmation message from the app or website.

3. What Happens After You Submit

  • Your authentication account is removed from CHIR access.
  • Your current session is signed out and local browser or device caches are cleared.
  • Support records are created so we can track the request status.
  • Orders, rentals, refunds, and moderation records may remain if the law or a legitimate business need requires them.

4. Local Data You Should Clear Separately

If you use a shared device, you may also want to clear your browser storage or uninstall the Android app to remove any remaining local cache, recent searches, or temporary image previews.

Deleting CHIR does not remove data stored inside your Google account, Razorpay account, Cloudinary account, or bank/UPI provider records. Those services are controlled separately by the provider you used.

5. What To Do If You Need A Copy Or A Correction

If you want a copy of your order history, need to correct an address, or want to ask about a retained transaction record, contact support before or after you submit deletion.
